Gastón is an Associate of Dupont Partners, specializing in banking, corporate and M&A transactions, as well as investment funds. Gastón is also specialized in digital assets.

Expertise

Gastón advises clients in financing transactions, including secured and unsecured lending and structured finance. He also has experience in SMEs financing from US multilateral financial institutions, and capital markets issues, where his areas of focus encompass debt issuance and listing.

Gastón also specializes in structuring and establishing Luxembourg regulated and unregulated alternative investment funds. He also has experience in corporate law and M&A transactions for international companies.

Finally, Gastón is very active within the digital assets industry advising start-ups, fintech companies, and investment funds in regulatory matters and security tokenization projects.

Professional Experience

Before joining Dupont Partners, Gastón spent 1 year in a boutique Luxembourg consultancy firm as a senior legal consultant in the regulatory department advising international investment funds and financial institutions with a presence in Europe.

Gastón started his career in two top-tier Law firms in Argentina with an important presence in Latam, where he worked in the corporate-M&A and banking departments.

  • Admitted to the Argentina (Buenos Aires State) Bar.
  • Master of Legal Practice, ISDE University (Spain). Currently doing the process for being admitted as a lawyer in Spain and therefore be admitted as a member of the Luxembourg Bar as Avocat Européen (List IV).

  • Diploma “Entrepreneurship Camp” from IE Business School (Spain).
  • Certificate in business administration from IE Business School (Spain).
  • LLM in International Business Law, IE University (Spain).
